Game never installed on 360?

Question

I've loaded up the game and played a few matches, but it never installed anything. I cleared hard drive space because it said that I needed like 6 gigs of free spcae so I assumed it would install something, but nothing has happened. Also, the game seems to crash at the black loading screen after each game. I'm wondering if not having anything installed might be a problem. I did download the garden variety dlc before I bootoed up for the first time if that helps with any solution, because apparently there have been some problems with it.

Im going to take a stab at this, and say you were probabpy experiencing the same issues other players were having after the recent update. If everything is fine now, then its safe to say it was the same issues.

As to the 6gb required on the back of the box Im not sure, but Im fairly certain I dont have 6gb of space.

That's not quite what I meant. I know that I can install games on my hard drive like that, but I thought there was some required install that happens automatically when you start the game for the first time, kind of like how you needed to install stuff of a disc for GTA V, but it would obvioisuly be on the one disc becasue that's all there is.&nbsp;

You mean the updates? &nbsp;Yes in the main menu it should be prompting you...maybe it did it quick and you didnt notice?

I'm sorry if I'm not being clear. On the box it stays storage required, and I was also told at GameStop that I would need 6 gigs of free hard drive space in order to play it. So I assumed there was going to be something that got put onto my hard drive that was around 6 gigs when I first put in the game. But that never happend, because I checked my storage and found that all the space I cleared for the game had gone unused. Yet I still loaded into a few matches and played. But I did notice problems and I froze after each match. I hope that explains it better.
