You're playing as a zombie. And even if you weren't how could it possibly be "icky" to play as a guy? I won't go into how ridiculous that is. As far as I'm aware, in any case, there are no other female hairstyles for the zombies.
Instead of hairstyles why not have female zombies instead? All zombies seem to be males

In any case, I didn't say it was incorrect. I said it was ridiculous. Because it is. It's a video game where you play as either plants or zombies. And no one looks at your customization options but you.

too*hopefully DLC will bring more customization including girl hairstyles and other silly things like toilet paper rolls on pea shooters...which is ironic because it's a pee shooter. haha.
