GW2 on Android and BfN not?

Apparently, GW2 is now being prioritized over BfN entirely. According to a German article I read, 7 EA games will be playable on Android via GamePass Ultimate, starting tomorrow. GW2 is one of them and BfN not. Here's the entire list of games playable on Android:

  • The Sims 4
  • Madden NFL 20
  • Unravel 2
  • Dragon Age Inquisition
  • Mirror's Edge Catalyst
  • Mass Effect Andromeda
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2

One thing that sticks out to me is that there are many older titles on the list. It could be that they are testing the service with older titles to see if it works well. Even so, it seems strange they wouldn't chose BfN over GW2. BfN has a more mobile friendly style and less bloated UI.

    See, it could be because GW2 has more players (note that I do not know this for sure, but I think so). Personally though, if I got to pick this, I would choose BFN over GW2. Who knows though? Maybe if GW2 gets enough support on Android, EA will consider putting BFN on there as well.

    Maybe BFN could be placed on Android through Game Pass Ultimate if the other games on there do well?

    @TheSprinter85 Would definitely be cool, even though it wouldn't magically resurrect the game. I just find it to be very strange that they would chose GW2 for this and not BfN. Maybe the bad / worse hit registration and the network protocol stuff contributed to this?
