How do you invite people to play multiplayer in Backyard Battleground?

I'm trying to play this mode with online players but it's not offering an option to make it open to public, only an option to invite friends. Is there a way to play it with others? New to the game s...

Thanks but the only permissions there are Friends Only or Invite Only, no option to let anybody join? Is that the way it's supposed to be?

@Sam11rok I suggest sending friend invites to people who play other modes. That way, you will have a larger group who can join you(choose friends only then).
