After spawning into your backyard, no matter the side you spawn on, to the left there will be two screens stacked on top of each other, glowing. After interacting with them it'll ask for P2 to press start, and viola! Split screen!

So the game immediately logs me in, and the flower pops up out of the ground for me to start shooting stuff. I don't see any screen to interact with. Keep in mind that outside of an iPad I've never played this game, so maybe Im looking at the wrong thing. Do I just walk up to these screens(if I find them) with the flower and then do what?
Sorry to sound stupid but I have no idea what Im doing here.
Oh, you're in the tutorial. You'll have to complete that stage to reach the real game. Once you've reached the "Backyard Battleground World", there will be a base on either side of the map filled with questboards, portals, customization booths, etc. for you to play around with. One of the objects is two stacked televisions which allows splitscreen.

Got it....my six year just taught me that. So now I have a six year old smarter than me.
Darn, got my reply in too late. I was recording a video of it's location to make it super duper easy.

Thank you for posted video clip. My kids are joyful now.🙂
A mistake people often make with split screen is not to have both players logged into their own PS and EA accounts. Then none of their progress is saved.
