I am not invisible but I lose the ability to perform any actions or control the game if my Xbox One controller disconnects or turns off and I turn it back on.
The character cannot move, I cannot access the game's menu, nothing. The console's system is still controllable but the game itself will not respond. The only option that is available in game is "hold X to sign in a second controller" and the game still thinks the logged into gamer profile xbox account is signed in so you cannot use that.
The only option is to press the guide button on the controller and choose the option to shut the game down entirely and restart. This isn't a one time thing. It happens every time the controller disconnects either through battery or the wired usb connection. This also occurred during the Alpha and I reported it but I never received a response. I have seen others complaining of this issue as well.
It should be easy enough to reproduce. Take the batteries out of the contorller or disconnect the wired controller connection and turn the controller back on. You won't be able to do anything in game until you restart the game through the console. I have not had this issue in any other game either from EA, Popcap or anyone else. It's not an issue in either or the Garden Warfare's.
