[INFORMATION REQUEST] - Character Weapons Not Unlocking For Some Users - Please post here!

We have received reports from players that their characters are not getting the required unlocks after completing the correct challenges or levelling up in game.

The characters being reported are the Sunflower and Peashooter Characters.

If this has happened to you, could you please post in this thread and give us the following information to help us investigate.

1)      Does this resolve itself after restarting the game or signing out and back in again?

2)      What gamertags are affected and which platforms?

3)      For characters that are blocked from progressing, what level are they at, what are their active challenges and what ability is not properly unlocked?

4)      Any details around which game mode that was being played (Garden Ops or Multiplayer) would be helpful as well.

For the ability and character that isnt unlocking correctly, could you please check your Stickerbook (Accessed from the Main Menu) and see if it shows as unlocked there? Thanks again!

    I have this issue, but with the Cactus and Scientist.
    1) I have signed out and back in and restarted the game, it did not help
    2) My gamertag is Be The Variable, on Xbox One
    3) The Cactus is level 4, Drone Time, Zombie Vanquisher and Revival are current active challenges. Tallnut is not properly unlocked, though it was yesterday. Scientist is level 4, Mad Heals is the only active challenge, and the healing ability is not unlocked though it was yesterday.
    4) I only played multiplayer prior to experiencing these issue, Vanquish and Gardens and Graveyards.

    1)      No.

    2)      xcrimsonlegendx, Xbox One

    3)      Cactus, Lv.2, Deploy 5 Wall-nut barriers, Wall-nut barrier.

    4)      I don't recall what game mode it was, though I play mostly the deathmatch variant.

    Thank you for looking into this, the cactus was my favorite class on the plants side.

    1. No.
    2. ElectedDictator is my gamertag on Xbox One.
    3. Both Sunflower/Peashooter are locked for me - both their Y abilities. Peashooter is level 5, Sunflower is level 3, I think. Peashooter somehow skipped the challenge for its last skill and allowed me to continue leveling up without the skill. Sunflower challenges: Little Helpers, Spread the Love, Zombie Vanquish Master. Peashooter challenges: Assists, Being a Character, Weapon Master.
    4. I've been playing all different game modes, but I do recall the Peashooter reaching level 3 in the split screen mode and not getting the ability then.

    1)No, Still glitched

    2) carrnivore98, xbox one

    3) sunflower, level 3, deploy 3 sunflowers, third ability

    4)ive tried all gamemodes

    I have this issue with Peashooter

    Kiaguy

    I had unlocked all 3 abilities and now they are locked and I can not level him any further

    This is on Xbox One

    Cactus level 4 didn't learn garlic drone
    Xbox One
    Gamer tag is fattnuggz
    Kill 3 enemies with drone, plant 5 pods, vanquish 3 enemies with corn strike from drone

    For the ability and character that isn't unlocking correctly, could you please check your Stickerbook (Accessed from the Main Menu) and see if it shows as unlocked there?

    The sticker is not showing up in my sticker book.

    Xcrimsonledgends - If you go into welcome mat or something now with the cactus and deploy tall nuts does it work?  Can you get things unlocked now at all?  If the sticker isnt there that means it is yet to be unlocked.  Very strange

    1. The issue is not resolved.

    2. My gamertag is Thuranius on the Xbox One.

    3. It is my sunflower, which is level 2. The active challenge is "Land 25 hits with the Sunbeam". And it is the sunbeam that did not unlock at level 2.

    4. I believe i was playing Garden Ops when the sunflower hit level 2.

    5. the ability is not unlocked in the stickerbook.
