Is it possible to be level 999 already? And have been for a couple days?

Just curious if that's really possible (without cheating of some sort)?

As for fast levellers, it seems quite plausible. Levels only scale up as far as the 10 for each variant before you upgrade, so overall level progression is very flat. Getting 20 characters to Master seems quite doable with heavy play.

The same guy only plays legendary's, and he's mastered all of the ones I've seen so far....

He most likely used some sort of XP exploit, I doubt that you can get to max level in just a few days.

WOW, do you always whine like a little girl when someone is better than you?

I find your reply a tad out of order, the guy was only asking if this was legit! no need for a personal attack.

I would also be asking questions if I saw someone with the max rank in one week, it could be a dev just testing out in game content but you never know, so rather than sit there wondering, it's sometimes a good  idea to ask!

shaun_style11, better than me? My team kept winning. =P

It just didn't strike me as legitimately possible.

But, I'm curious, why so much anger?

  • I've seen lots of people with levels in the 900s, even seen some up there in the 1000s. Are all these people cheating? I highly doubt it. They just play a lot. A lot of streamers, who play as a job have huge levels. I'm even aware of some people who have taken time from their jobs when the game came out to play non stop haha.

It's so so easy to level up in this game. You merely have to play the game, and your character levels up. You get XP for just about everything you do.

I did 500 levels in the first week, and only another 100 since.  Even that first week some people had me doubled up, and it would not have required cheating to do it.  They could have easily put in double the time I did, but more likely they are probably just better players at a wider variety of characters than I am.  When you start streaking kills together, you can easily do 6-8 levels in a single game of turf takeover.  Some people have probably done 10 in a game.  I saw a guy at level 17xx last night which was pretty impressive, but I doubt he did any cheating.

I would think it possible with good heavy play.

also, for consideration, a group of people playing the same count to race to max level. in CoD, when they raised the max level there was a group of people that played the same account literally 24 hours a day to race to max level. they streamed the entire time. as far as I could tell, they reached it probably a good month or 2 than any heavy playing single player will.

of course, there were others that did exploit and reach it sooner. the leveling in this game is much faster and not really needed.

Hmm, if it's possible to max level up so quickly and easily then it seems quite pointless having it there in the first place.

I know a lot of people saw the PVZ1 levelling up process as being a bit of a grind (if anything is a grind then you shouldn't be playing the game in the first place (but that's another story)) but at least a three figured number aside your name actually meant something. Unless of course you purchased your level ups.
