If I remember correctly, the studio responsible for the shooters has been largely silent for a while now (PopCap Vancouver), so chances for another shooter are unfortunately quite low.
And even IF another shooter is announced, I doubt it'll have such an open feedback system like BFN did, so the players will probably have much less influence on the game than we could have had with BFN.
