I've noticed less and less players. Each game mode I go into either has 1 or 2 players or nothing besides Turf. I kind of want to leave the game myself. There are 2 things that really push me away.One thing would be, sub classes. Some of them are so useless. Once you level'd up the one you like most. You usually want to level up the other ones, but when the other ones are so bad and more of a grind. You just don't want to play them. One scientist can do 30 dmg a hit, shots fast and multiple hits. Then you have one that does 12 dmg a hit, shots very slow and 1 target. Each sub class has like different dps range. It's kind of stupid. Second thing would be are packs. You get an item and it has 4 different types of the same thing. Silver, Gold, Diamond and Purple diamond. It's like really? And then a bots and gestures are super rares? Bots are great, but they die so fast anyways so I don't really care much of them. And gestures I only use at the spot light. Oh well. Game over over man. Game over.

People are going to stop playing your game if they simply aren't having fun.Lets see what is killing people's fun atm.- Infinity time would be the biggest one, with it being buggy mess and a tedious thing to grind for and giving no real incentive to pass 25k unless you are going for a high score on the leaderboards. It just feels clumsy. However you are forced into it if you want to unlock all the characters. Which were actually worth going for before the patch nerfed them.- The majority don't like one sided battles, now if it's true or not is yet to be determined. However the belief right now is that Zombies just stomp everyone in every mode. Personally the only mode I have found this true to be in was Herbal Assault, because Plants lack the proper offense and since GW1 were originally intended to be more defensive orientated.- Rose being nerfed. This is a big one as well, you have people saying Rose got overly nerfed especially with her health/damage and Ice Rose in particular not being able to freeze a target worth a damn anymore which is a fair call. Then you have others saying the nerf was fine and no other Zombie class should of been buffed and the meta should of played out.- Then you have the 50% Imp health buff, it's debatable if he needed both his health/damage buffed, but when a group of Mech's just destroy the Plants side at times ofc people are going to have a bad time.- Super Bean is another thing that is pissing people off and a Super Bean Wave is just down right terrifying.- Super Brainz is another character people are having issue with. His Tornado with damage reduction is causing alot of problems and his range damage s way too strong which is especially true with Electro Brainz arc damage on multiple targets. It's not fun for people to be chained to death like that and It's obviously not intended for a Melee character to do so.- People are butt hurt about Captain Deadbeard who's is made out to be more versatile than a Cactus in every way. So Cactus players aren't having fun, because they feel it's unfair.- Then we have the case of 3 of the most common Scientist's being used to get easy kills, the Marine Biologist, the Chemist, the Zoologist all coming in to warp in your face and lay waste to group of plant before they know what hit them. People certainly aren't enjoying that.- We also have people not having as much fun with the Soldier, feeling that his rocket jump height got nerfed too much to be able to use smoke screen and ZPG at the same time while in mid air.- Some people feel the Legendary characters you get in sticker pack has too harsh of RNG and to have any chance of unlocking them is like winning the lottery. Which like IT is hell for the completionist's, so they most certainly aren't having fun.It's a combination of these and whole lot more which is all contributing to people's lack of fun.

It seems like it, I no longer play. Been playing Bloodborne and Dark Souls again in preparation of Dark Souls 3. My wife puts in may be 1 hour every other day and gets bored fairly quickly. She was addicted to GW1, not sure what the problem is with GW2, but it just does not have that spark GW1 had. The maps feel weird, most old characters are useless, and the game imbalanced is just terrible. As of now, I'll wait until they patch the game to the point that no side has advantages over one another. I wish we could have transferred all of our old emotes and accessories, the new ones aren't that great and they all have bling variants which I personally don't care for. Throw in low zombie, plants, pots, and bots counts per package open.

The game is a lot of fun, but it does have some glaring flaws...1) No online split screen. Given the family and couples audience this game tends to draw this was a pretty damning omission, a lesson you'd think they would have learned from the first game. On top of that, guests cannot use the main account's unlocked variants, further killing the drop in and play fun factor of couch co-op. The one thing you can do together, the flag in the backyard battleground, suffers from neutered xp gains (and used to also suffer from less coins as well), so it really isn't worthwhile doing together.2) Infinity Time is pretty fun, imo, but is so hindered by bad design decisions that make it not really accessible. No match making really hurts it. Charging a limited resource (stars) to even play it makes it too restrictive. Shards should be saved between games too and spent when the player desires, avoiding crashes losing all progress or bugs killing you before you can claim your chest, while also allowing players to put in as much time as they have without having to commit over an hour of their time. The chest of infinity rewards could even be located outside the instance then, for example, maybe put it in the gnome room.3) Game crashes. These are bad and far too frequent, and since all progress is lost (coins or shards earned) it hurts even more. It does not leave a good impression. I've seen them happen in Ops, Infinity Time, and Multiplayer. Also, occasionally you get matched into an Ops group with really low ping, making it so jerky that it's almost unplayable.4) Class imbalance. It's been pretty severe and the devs have been very quiet about it since the first pass. In the beginning it was all Rose, now it's all Super Brainz and Imp, while other classes suffer in almost uselessness (Chomper). This sort of thing leaves a bad impression, and some people see this and just decide the frustration isn't worth their time.5) Coin glitch. In the first weeks of this game's release (when people look into a game to see if it's worth buying) all forums besides the official one were dominated by people looking to take advantage of an exploit, fostering a toxic community. Some people saw that and just say "nope". Also consider that some people that took advantage of the exploit earned enough coins to unlock everything they wanted so there's nothing left for them to work towards besides grinding levels, so they're not motivated to play.6) Speaking of motivation to play, several factors severely detract from that. For example, all customization options come in an absurd amount of variants (e.g. silver, gold, etc), making it extremely unrewarding to open packs after you have all the characters since you're highly unlikely to get anything new and just get "duplicates" instead. Alternate abilities and gestures are far too rare as well. While I like the new leveling system over the old game's, the new system loses the reward of getting new abilities and variants as you leveled a class, which was a significant draw.7) No map for the backyard battleground. While not really an issue for some, for others that don't research things it is rather confusing and its features (chests, gnomes, snow globes, side quests, etc) are not really apparent unless you dig in and really explore. So while they're a good feature, many won't even know they're there. A map with points of interest on it would've definitely helped show players there's "more to do".8) This is an opinion point, but I find most of the maps dull compared to the first game. The new maps seem more open and geared towards rushing, while the old ones had multiple routes, good sniper positions, and great tactical sections. It makes things seem dull after repeated plays, again in my personal opinion.9) The Division came out. Hard to say, but I'm betting that drew a lot of players away.

For gamemode in general, try mixed mode as it generally have a decent amount of player during the hot hours. Vanquish confirmed,Subordination and Gnome Bomb are almost always dead unless there a quest that require doing those mode. Turf takeover always have player in it and Team vanquish generally have a decent amount of player in here too.

Anyway,I could see where your complaint about bad variant and pack giving ways too much reskin come from...Although I fall to see which scientist variant only do 12 damage at hit. None of them are that weak unless you use it at the wrong range.

Haven't touched GW2 since The Division was released. GW1 was always the filler between big titles, that's pretty much how GW2 will be, also.

i can tell u why is not the same like GW1. Simply cos the game is not clean. It is a shooter where shoots are not clean. To many improve needs to be a real shooter like GW1.
They have to patch and patch. It is NOT possible. To jump with soldier, throw a grande and before to tocuh floor, to lauch the rocket. That IS NOT possible in GW2. But was in GW1. How is that possible? Cos the game is not optimized.

And the other thing is about to buy a game wich is plenty of bugs since first day. People, like me get upset. And there is not mic to speak with ur team. So the game is pretty cold. To complicate maybe for a people who thinks this is a game for kids... cos is not. It is a serious game. Where if u are good u can make 60 kills easily every match. obviously, if u are a casual gamer. U are gonna cry against scientists, pirates, peas or popcorn. And are get bored. Like when i started to play DOTA... i was and im a noob. And i got upset sooo many times... At the end, i not play dota. Also cos i didnt have a team. But u understand what i mean.

Today i have had a poor players... a zen cactus... i played with allstar. We made 14-1. If every time i play i died 14 times against someone who plays, per example a non sniper rol... ill leave the game for sure.

And it is obvious, they have to make more maps to conquer game mode. 2 maps for plants and 2 for zombies... ABSURD. It is necessary like 4 and 4. Not Snow daytime, and then................. YEAH! Snow but nightime... like gw1.

.................. WTF!!!!! 4 maps to play. When they know about how many players play conquer mode cos u earn more money than others modes.

And to finish. This is a game to play with friends for sure. To play this game alone is not cool. I play with 3 friends and is amazing. When win almost always, so the game for us is pretty funny. Even with the * bugs...

Anyways, i think they should put the game in 30 dollars or less. A * * for us... cos we buyed it already.. but... people is not gonna spent 45 dollars for a pc game when u cant get fallout or any other game more atractive to most of people.

If u see, at ps and xbox there are. A LOT of players... It is amazing. But.. im a pc player. Sorry. And more for a shooter.
