Limited XP with recent patches! Vanquish Streak XP is limited to 5!

WTH, EA is limiting XP all across the board. From bounties to the additional XP perk (20% down to 10%). I also noticed that Vanquish Streaks bonus XP has been reduced too. Previously,  I believe there was an additional line indicating bonuses for Vanquish Streaks and a separate line for the specific kill XP. Now it's combined in one line but total XP is less.

I tested it out on Turf Takeover. First kill is 160 XP. Each additional kill, XP goes up by 3. So 160, then 163, and so on. However, it's capped at 175. The 5th streak and anything after is only worth 175 XP.

It's taking so long to level. I've been playing often and I think I'm pretty good. I get 1st place overall much of the time or at least top 3 (not trying to boast) and it's taking me a long time just to rank up one level. One promotion would take at least 20-40+ games per character (higher for characters that are difficult to get vanquish streaks). It's possible that it may take 400+ games just to Master one character such as Chomper. It might take even longer for a character such as Rose who is so weak!

For the average player, it'll be even longer! EA is absurdly trying to prolong this game. I enjoy leveling up characters but now it feels like a total grind. EA has taking the fun out of leveling up.

  • I'm against the nerfs they've made to earning exp in BFN. I say this because literally, no-one has the time to be leveling up characters over many months of playing BFN. This is certainly the wrong move PopCap made. Change it back!

  • To be fair, I like the cap on xp for kill streaks in certain modes (such as TT to keep people from trying to kill streak instead of teamplay).  In Team Vanquish or Battle Arena, however, this cap should not exist.

    @spIash_damage Team Vanquish has the streak master boast which no longer exists in TT, so perhaps it won't apply there anyway?
    Does anyone know for sure?
    I'm ok with a cap on streak xp in turf if it encourages more objective-based team play, but they ideally should be upping xp in other areas before bringing yet another area down. And they're not communicating all these changes, are they? That's not ideal - if they said we're altering A so we can change B, it perhaps we'd adapt better/quicker.
