New Characters and How to Get Them?

Hi after the new update recently, clearly there are new characters available.

Any ideas on how to get them? E.g. Should I be hitting infinity time or should I buy packs? Or will they be released in a challenge?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Obtaining the new characters are only going to be through packs at the shop. The packs should be called Frontline Fighters. They should be at the shop around the same time Rux makes an appearance and the mystery portal event.

    I just saw my older post on the second page and laughed.  Commando corn is one of the best characters in the game.  Scallywag is fun to play but not very powerful.  Though I do find myself being vanguished by good players using him with regular frequency.

    Since this thread was brought back from the dead, a couple observations.

    1)  Especially since the recent buff, necrose is now a serious force to be reckoned with when used by a good player.  I see plenty of them these days.

    2)  The reorganization of the sticker shop has made this thread somewhat obsolete.  All of the FLF characters are now available in the same packs as the other characters.
