No cheaters in Garden Warfare 2! Get lost!
Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2: Hackers Are Crashing Lobbies & Ruining the Game for Legit Players
I’m writing to express my deep frustration with the current state of Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 multiplayer. For legitimate players like me, the game has become completely unplayable due to rampant hackers and lobby-crashing cheats.
Almost every lobby I join is immediately hijacked by cheaters using mods and scripts to crash lobbies, force-close matches, softlock accounts, or ruin gameplay with glitches like invisibility, 1HP hacks, infinite lag, and instant kills. No matter which region or game mode I choose, the same issue persists—servers are overrun, matches won’t start, or get crashed mid-game before we can even play properly.
The anti-cheat system is clearly ineffective, and nothing is being done to stop these hackers from destroying the experience for everyone who just wants to enjoy the game fairly. This has been going on for far too long, and the community is suffering because of it.
I urge PopCap and EA to take immediate action: strengthen anti-cheat, actively ban cheating accounts, fix server security, and restore a playable environment for loyal fans. Without proper intervention, this beloved game will be lost to hackers entirely.
