plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 steam not launching!?

Dear Pop Cap/EA

I have recently bought Plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 from steam but every time I try to launch the game it always gives me the same error message in which is, "there is a problem with your games setup. please reinstall." what could I be doing that is making it not work.

    @angryplant2009 I have the same problem on the EA app, it worked perfectly fine when i was playing it on the Origin launcher back in 2019 and it worked fine when i played it in January 2023 but now it doesn't work at all. I tried repairing it, reinstalling it and i even tried reformating my PC but it still doesn't work. It shows the same message everytime i launch the game. There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall.

    I have the same problem! I’ve been watching a ton of videos, uninstalling and reinstalling, running as administrator, etc and nothing is working.
