Hello @Flimsygamer
Please try and install Visual C++ and DirectX from "__Installer" folder, which is located in the main game folder. After installing, please restart your laptop and try running the game.

I tried that and it doesn’t work
has anyone found a fix yet? i rally want to play but i have the same issue. it just sucks
I had a simiar problem once and the solution was to create a new user in Windows and install the game under the new user. My files were corrupt under my old user and there was no fixing it. Not an ideal solution and a hassle to have to switch users to play the game, but it got the game running. Good luck.
