Well if we are going on a pattern here, it should be released this summer at the reveal thingy they do each year. GW1 was announced summer 2013 and released winter 2014, GW2 was announced summer 2015 and released winter 2016, so it would make sense that GW3 would be announced summer 2017 (this summer) and released winter 2018.
I could be wrong, but I suspect we may have to wait a little longer than that.
Among my wish list:
PLEASE bring back the video tutorials for characters' special abilities. You shouldn't have to go searching all over the internet to figure out what the heck a particular mech's special abilities are, for example. I only just finally figured out today that Drake Mech's right bumper ability is a shield. This sort of information should be available in-game, not up to the community to provide on its own

It's been a while. Honestly I highly doubt they are going to release it, but If they do, I'm guessing they are working really hard on it and it might take longer, so I'd add one year to your pattern and say it will be released winter 2019.
