Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare Application Error

Every time I try to launch the game I am greeted with an Application Error called PVZ.Main_Win64_Retail.exe - Application Error.

Would someone please tell me what info they would need from me in order to help me solve this issue.

Ok so with my little knowledge of computers I ran Dependency Walker on the PVZ.exe and found that msvcr100 dll was x86 in the system 32 files so I found a x64 version of it and replaced it and bam game works. I feel so awesome right now.

Can you take a screenshot of the crash message?  Expand any details if there are any.

Make sure you don't have any compatibility settings on Origin's shortcut.

Set game's exe to run as admin under compatibility settings.

Try making a new windows user admin account to test with.

Reset 3D Properties in Nvidia Control panel globally.

Made sure I didn't have any compatibility settings on Origin shortcut, Set the game's exe to run under compatibility settings, Also made a new window's user account to test to see if it would work there, and also reset the 3D Properties in Nvidia Control panel. Same error message every time.

Try repair feature from Origin on the PvZ icon.

    -----

Rename (or delete) the Documents/PvZ folder

Relaunch game (or repair) should bring it back to defaults

    ----

    Uninstall Origin

    Reinstall Origin

((does not uninstall the game itself))

I searched my documents for a PvZ folder but there wasn't one there.

Ah folder probably isn't created since the game never launched.

    ---

I'm running low on thoughts here my friend ☹️  since the game is crashing before it even launches.

    Perhaps run these as admin

    Origin Games\PvZ\__Installer\directx\redist\DXSetup.exe

    Origin Games\PvZ\__Installer\vc\vc2012Update3\redist\vcredist_x64.exe

    ----

    Perhaps try contacting EA here.

I'm thinking there is going to be an easy fix for this... but I can't see it with my set of eyes.

Apparently I am having this problem with another game too. On the forums there they suggested using something called Dependency walker and have it scan the .exe file for errors.

They said it is an error related to having a 32 bit dll installed in the system 32 directory.

I'm not smart with computers at all but does what they say make sense? and if so do you think this will help?
