(PvZ GW2) PvP matchmaking continuously times out?

The only modes that seem to work properly are the Ops modes and inviting a friend to my Backyard, or joining theirs. However trying to queue for any multiplayer modes will tell me it's found a match, wait about twenty seconds, and then proceed to tell me I could not connect and throw me out of the portal. It's been really bumming me out because my friend recently bought this game and now we can't even really play the main content of the game. As someone with a total of 1461 hours of gameplay, every character and maximum rank, I can say I have never experienced a bug this bad before but I really don't want all the playtime to go to waste because I cannot join PvP matches anymore. If it helps, I play on Xbox One. Cheers and ty in advance for any support.

    I'm having this issue too. I can play multiplayer on all game modes except Turf Takeover. When I try, I get kicked out of the portal too. The only way to play TT is to switch my server to Europe. But of course, since I'm in the US, playing with their servers leads to lag. Making it hard to enjoy the game. I've seen several posts here about this issue, so many people are experiencing this issue, but so far, no word from EA if they're working on fixing it. For now, I would suggest switching your regional server to play the game.

    Ah, alright then thanks for the reply. Lag is better than being unable to play so I suppose I can try struggling through that as an alternative until there's a fix. Supposedly this issue is being caused because about a week ago the game had a launch on steam and that's been messing with the game servers. Hope they can fix them soon and ty for the idea 🙂
