I figured I'd start a thread or forum in regard to the balance change, as it appears there's a ton of issues with the balance change, but it's also been received well as it's a \"content\" update to a game that's not been updated content-wise in years.

As a non-competitive PvZH player (been playing casually for over a year) I am not a fan of this update because it appears to have increased the divide between plants and zombies; based on the changelogs seen here (Plants Vs Zombies: Heroes Balance Update for December 2024), plants got the short end of changes with zombies getting a larger number of buffs. While an update is good, this update seemingly was done in a poor manner as it introduced bugs that likely would've popped up with a little bit of texting (ie winter melon self-freezing and nurse gargantuan healing from your hand). I'm hoping there's some major fixes and adjustments within the coming days, but until then I'm not likely going to update the game.

There're my thoughts, feel free to disagree or add onto anything to what I said and please leave your own feedback! I believe it's important to point out that it's important to acknowledge there is issues with the update bug/glitch wise, as if we only highlight the good stuff none of the \"bad\" stuff will get fixed.

I also didn't include this in my initial post, but most gargantuar cards seem to be a little too broken which raises concern for any daily challenge involving them. Any instance where you're likely playing against gargantuars is likely now nearly impossible.

Somehow with no other cards on the board the Supernova Gargantuar healed the hero to maximum health all the way up from 8pts.  Um:  ????   This figure heals now?  It’s not in the text.

It would be really good if they buffed Green Shadow’s signature super power to work on every ground lane ( instead of only the middle lane ) Green Shadow is an overall weak hero and I think that buff could really make her more viable as a hero ❤️

Another thing I've also noticed that today is that PvZH now has more adds in the game. While the extra tickets add are arguably ok, having the player watch an advertisement to refresh a quest is a terrible idea.

The refreshing of quests is already a little janky and by that, I mean it won't always refresh/update your quests until you do a battle. With the addition of watching an advertisement, you now run into the issue where the quest doesn't refresh at all, making the refresh feature useless and forcing you to do all quest as-is.

Some more issues that I've not seen mentioned but I've noticed and/or ran into:

You can get the play two 1/1 dancing signature twice as brainstorm; I started with the signature and then got it from a shield block. Not sure if this can occur with other heroes and with the plant equivalent ie the play two 1/1 mushrooms.

Wanna be hero Gargantuar heal 3 is essentially useless. You heal after his hp is set, making it so where the gargantuar doesn't benefit from his own ability, which was likely the intent of the ability in the first place (so the card could be a 6/4 garg minimum versus 6/1 and making it die in one hit). Not sure if it's a bug, but I'm guessing it is as it provides little synergy and if it's intended it should be clarified within it's description.

Greetings!  I've been playing this game for 5-6 years.  This latest update is a disaster.  In addition to what's been mentioned, today I saw two Zombie players play cards in any round and they immediately turn into \"Knight of the Living Dead\" card.  Until this is fixed, I'm not going to be playing this game.  This is what we get with DEI development.

@M8o5I just played as a Zombie and the glitch is coming from the \"Zombie King\" card as it's immediately turning any card into a \"Knight of the Living Dead\" card while in my hand, which is why all the Zombie players are using that deck.
