PVZ PS3 Cannot Connect To E A Server

More info needed.

What are you seeing as an error msg, what platform are you on?  Is it all modes or happening in the front end?

Have you rebooted? Do you have PS+

I'm having the same issue, but I don't get an error message is just sits there saying "connecting to EA servers.........." it was working just fine last night.

My son is having the same problem.  We set up the internet connection with his PS3 and continually get an error message "80710723" then it says to restart the modem/router and the PS3 after installing the needed system updates.  We have done this several times, are able to get online doing other things (iTunes, yahoo, etc.) but this game just sends us into a cycle of restarting, updating and rebooting......same error code and unable to play.  I am not tech savie....my 11 year old son knows more than I do so I am at a loss here.  Help!!
