Re: Ability discussion: cannon rodeo and anchors away
The only issue I have with cannon rodeo is that we have so many turret modes in GW2 already, and like the Engineer's big bolt blaster, if you shoot at the deadbeard, they are not only armored, but hitting the cannon doesn't damage the pirate. It's a good ability for sure.
Anchors away is decent and superior to the cacti's petal power ability as while it can bug out at times, it never leaves you stuck in midair and can be used quickly to get out of danger and get to high ground.
And yes, I love alternate abilities being options, it's one reason I prefer the GW games and TF2 over OW.
The more we discuss these, the more I want GW3! Still playing these games, mostly GW2, but we need new stuff; new abilities, new variants, new maps (and bring back the old ones), new bosses, and just more stuff to do!
