Revives and its issues

Sunflowers and Scientists can revive a teammate with full health and within a few seconds but any other characters takes too long to revive and revives you with only 50% health which is an easy kill for the enemy team.

My ideas:

Nerf revive

Sunflowers and Scientists now revive teammates with 75% health.

Change revive

Teammates revived keep 100% health by Sunflowers and Scientists.

Teammates are now revived with 75% by any class except Sunflowers and Scientists.

Buff revive

Teammates are now always revived with 100% by any class.

Fix bugs

You can jump forward and revive while moving, that's unfair.

  • I think I'm fine with current revive. Scientist/SunFlower are healers/revive specialist so they should have an advantage in speed and full revive (100%).

Others are not reviver, they are slower and can't fully revive (50%).

If we make it to 75%, it would be overpowered. Imagine if enemies have a lot of tanks (citron, Torchwood, all-star, superbrain), it dies, revive by any of member then become a tank again. That's just too much to overcome.

  • Yeah, but remember that you have, i dont know like 5 seconds cast time to revive which leaves you very vulnerable. (If you don't know how to make the revive trick where you jump forward)
  • I like the idea, as there can be a situation where you have scientist in a group just constantly reviving people over and over again and you can't kill them. And when there is multiple scientist reviving multiple people its just a mess. Free kills, but also gets you nowhere until their team shows up and backs them up.

In my opinion, 100% is actually perfectly fine, but make it slower, and in my opinion, normal classes shouldn't be able to revive others at all. It takes to long and you come back missing half your health, with no abilities, and if you just died, you are probably going to die again.

as a veteran to the game, i think they should make the revive mechanic like that of Man Vs Machine in TF2 (a hoard based wave game mode in a pretty damn good game)

Sunflower and Scientist can revive, but at the current speed of the rest of the classes, and its still 100%

    nobody else can revive

sadly this will never happen, but I believe it would add more skill and fix the issues with reviving, and make people actually play healers more in multiplayer and even more so in ops!

The full revive is too good. Basically you get vanquished and any Sunflower or Scientist can bring you back rapidly to full health. I liked it better in GW1 where it was faster but still 50% like all other classes, as a Sunflower I would immediately heal my revived teammate anyway. Maybe the 75% would be a bit better though as full rapid revive rewards suicide players too much.

  • Here is my idea. Vanquishing Sunflowers and Scientists should be prioritized by all players. That will make a difference.

We all do that. If there are 4 or 5 you can kill them all and they will keep reviving.

Sometimes it's like you're playing against AI when the enemy healers don't know how to jump revive.  I can easily get a streak going off of two players, especially if they're both healers.

Yeah, I know that. Then just fix that. You kill someone to punish the enemy team and reviving is not okay because it's easy to pull off as Sunflowers and Scientists. I don't think revive is in a good spot right now and needs to be changed. Fix jump revive, maybe decreased slightly cast time for revive (if you can't move) or maybe just let Scientists and Sunflowers revive.
