Shogun gaurd legendary upgrade is a time-limited unlockable?

Is Shogun Gaurd a limited time unlockable? Or will there still be a way to unlock it even after the “season” is over? I’m concerned, because if it’s no longer obtainable after the end of the season,...

Hey, the price is mentioned by Producer Shaun Laker in the devstream around this time. I will note that he says "about 300 Rainbow Stars".

@EA_David I hope it stays in the shop permanently, there's no reason for Popcap to do it otherwise.
