Every time I try to do split screen it says: "Failed to start split screen. There is no space in group" Yet I check social and says group is 1/4 and even when I set to friends only or invite only, it will still not let my wife's profile join my game for split screen.

Can I ask what Platform you're playing on?
When you plug in and/or add another Controller, is she holding down the X button(Xbox) or the Square button(PS4) to join?

Hello @iluminatethesky , I'm on xbox, and yes we holding down the X button and immediately after it brings up that error. We have even tried in offline mode, and tried making a private match and still no luck :

Thanks for the heads up.
Can you try clearing your MAC Address, and doing a hard reset on your Console?
Go to Settings, Network, Advanced Settings, Alternate MAC Address, and Clear. Then fully turn off your Console for 30 seconds or so, and turn it back on.
Also, can you highlight Battle for Neighborville on the Home Screen, go to Manage Game, and make sure everything is up to date?

@iluminatethesky So we cleared the MAC, still same issue. I am currently uninstalling and reinstalling as a last resort lol. I will let you know if anything good comes out of it

@iluminatethesky yep. The strange part that I forgot to mention is the 1st time we played we had no problem and were able to play split screen right away. The 2nd time and every time after that we have not been able to play split screen
Community AdminI believe when you played first, your wife's account may have gotten linked to your account, which can lead to this issue.
If you create a new account as a test and log in with that to a solo game of BFN first, can you use this in Split-screen as a test/potential workaround?
