I have been having problems with being able to play PVZ. Every time I load up the game, it tells me "Uh Oh, Your unable to play online due to not being connected to EA servers." I have tried to ask EA support but everything they told me didn't work. I looked on the Forums to see if anyone had the same problem. A lot of people do, and all the things that helped these people didn't work for me. "Reset the time" I did, didn't work. "Check if its a child account" Its not, I just created an account a few days ago. I had bought the game on a steam sale. The servers are not down. What do I do? I will end up refunding the game if i cant get anything that works. Why EA still is selling a game that doesn't even work? Who knows? I'm frustrated and want it fixed. Thanks.

Lanoa Since you can connect to the game using a different account, this seems to be an account-related issue. I suggest that you contact EA Help Support and ask them to check if everything is ok with your account on their end.

When I was talking to the EA Support he linked me that article, I cant do most of those things. For example I cannot link my router to my pc, I changed the WIFI channel, and i reset my time. Non of what was listed could help. I have bought the game on steam, and I open the game from steam. Should I uninstall it and reinstall it but with the EA App/Origin instead of Steam. I wish Steam could help me to see if its a issue on their end, but all of the help info links to EA. Any other info?

If you purchased the game through Steam, you will need to have your EA and Steam accounts linked. To link the accounts, please check this article: Linking your platform accounts to your EA Account. Let us know if that helps.

I have exactly the same problem. I feel so frustrated. It seems many people here have the same problem. One of the players has published the YouTube video explaning the problem. Hello, EA_cuervo , I am getting "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your network connection (...)" error message.
When I launch the game, everything seems fine at first - I see the main screen, then the matchmaking starts. After that, a blue screen appears with a 'spinning daisy,' and this process takes a long time. Then, suddenly, nothing happens, and I’m sent back to the main screen with a message saying there is no connection. It feels like the system is verifying my profile and then rejecting me. This only happens with this specific game and only with my profile. I also noticed that a lot of people on the forums are experiencing the exact same issue, so it doesn’t seem to be just me.
It doesn’t matter where I try to connect from - different computers, different network connections - the same issue happens with my account.
BTW, the game works fine on my son's account but not on my own. Everything was fine until December. it seems to be an issue tied specifically to my profile on the server side rather than a hardware or software problem.
And one more thing: a few days before something strange happened. My daughter is the one who plays on this account, and there was another player who was cheating and harassing her. They were able to type anything in the chat, and somehow, they made it so that my daughter’s character kept dying and respawning over and over - dozens of times.
Maybe something happened back then that caused this issue?
