Just like the title reads: I want to hear your favorite BfN moment / story!
Personally, I have many of these and will share them with you via reply as well.
I thought since the devs have been very quiet and toxicity has been frustrating many of you lately, I would make this post to lift the community's mood 😇.
This is my favorite BfN and video game story in general. I just have to share it with all of you. It even has a message about morals and being friendly towards others. This story could be featured in a children's book.
First Contact
My sister and I like to play the game in split screen. A couple of months ago when we were playing BfN, we noticed there were 2 players with very similar user names in the opposing team. We figured they were probably siblings and playing in split screen as well.
After some time, we stumbled upon them in combat. They were taunting us after they vanquished us and one of them ran way when he was low health.
My sister didn't think much of it, but I had experienced many toxic players that day and was a bit mad. I did a shameful thing. I used the infamous brown emoji on them.
In this case I don't even regret it, because it made them remember us and was the start of a beautiful story.
We weren't targeting each other, but whenever we vanquished each other, we were taunting. We figured all of us had fun doing it and weren't getting angry.
The next day
The next day we encountered them in pvp again. We had a lot of fun vanquishing and taunting each other. My sister decided to send the "Loving" emoji after vanquishing one of them. She just wanted to symbolize that we didn't mean to be toxic but considered it to be harmless fun. Then they stopped shooting at her and sent some nice emojis themselves. She stopped to shoot at them as well. It was really weird because we didn't want to annoy the other players by not playing the game the intended way, but also didn't want to put our newly found peace at risk. When they kept shooting at me, I sent the "Loving" emoji as well. Then we weren't trying to vanquish each other anymore. Suddenly some other zombies appeared and vanquished us. Then they started to send the "Sadness" emoji and were grieving over us. They even said "Stop" to the zombie who vanquished us. It was the cutest thing I had ever witnessed in an online shooter. We were just worried about the other players getting mad. We ended up continuing to play as normal, but instead of shooting at each other, we vanquished other players.
The third encounter
After a few days we encountered them again. This time I was finally put in the same team as them, so we didn't have to worry about vanquishing each other. My sister was placed in the opposing team by matchmaking, because the plant team was full. We all played as Peashooter. One of them dressed his Peashooter to look exactly like mine! When the game was about to be over, we met each other and exchanged nice messages. Here's a screenshot of it:
Other encounters
We encountered them a few more times in pvp since then. One time my sister and them were in the plants team, while I was put in the zombie team. They were all playing as Acorn. They said "Wait here!" and "Be right back!" to her. Then they respawned and returned. Guess what happened: they changed their acorns to look like hers! I was playing as Electric Slide. Once the match ended, they sprinted towards me and jumped on top of me. I had 3 little Acorns swirling around me and jumping on top of my head.
@benn1nat0r once, when I was playing cactus, random wildflower spawnable throwed his granade at a foot soldier bouncing him staring into my potato mine.
@wp9isilpq8r That sounds awesome! Something similar happened to me once. There were 2 zombies standing in the same spot. Whenever there are multiple players in the same spot the game moves one slightly away. One of them got pushed into my potato mine 🙂.
Well, it's not a big story, but it was a day where some friends and I went to take pictures at the pressure pier and we also finished finishing the region , it was a really cool day 🙂
@TheSprinter85 Unfortunately I didn't. My sister and I tend to be rather shy and we only send friend requests to people we know personally. A few of the people she accepted friend request from while playing BfN ended up being kind of weird. They also had private accounts like we do. Their account page said they lived in the USA. We hope to find them again in pvp and then I will try to send them a friend request. Hopefully we encounter them again. We live in Europe and play on European serves. I hope they haven't switched their server from Europe to America.
We always play at 9pm because we encountered them at that time (should be 3 pm in America)
I mean I have their user names, so I could send them a request now, but I fear they wouldn't remember my user name. The last time we saw them was a little over 2 weeks ago.
@gametrieuk That's a really nice story 🙂. I did that as well with my sister and a couple of friends.
I was friends with a guy for over a year talking nearly everyday before I realized he lived in my city...after which I unfriended him because what kind of weirdo plays bfn as much as I do? Couldn't have him finding out where I lived...had to be a sociopath.
