When trying to turn on pvz goty through steam it tells me that its unable to extract game executable, when trying to open through the .exe it says that its unable to load steam.dll. Even uninstall and install didnt work. Plz help.
Community ManagerAh shoot, what about this workaround that someone found on Steam, I wonder if that can help:
Make sure you don't have the game installed before you do this. Go to the game's store page. Click on "Download PC Demo". After this, accept all recquirements and the location of the demo and hit install. An error will pop-up saying you already own the game, and that you should download the full version. Click 'cancel installation'. Now go back to your game's library and attempt to download the game once more. This should work now. Have fun playing!
I tried it and now no matter how i open it it say that it's unable to extract game executable. And when i tried to run it as an administrator it's telling me "failed to startup steam: missing interface"
Community ManagerHey x44fitack2a0 , try to locate the steam.dll file (it should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\), copy it and paste it in the Plants vs Zombies folder (under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\).
