No notice of renewal and no Invoice so No refund on yearly membership

So, i have been a member of pogo since before Club Pogo (2002) and have been a club pogo member for 17 years. On Saturday (24th Sept) i received a notification via Paypal that $63.72 AUD had been taken by EA for my yearly membership to POGO. As money is tight at the moment I was going to cancel the subscription when i received the notification that it was due.

I went to EA HELP chat right away but as they didn't bother to send a notification or an invoice I have no way to be refunded. I sent screen shots of the paypal transaction with the ID etc, I sent screenshots of my Pogo account that had clearly just been renewed but they won't refund my money until I give them the invoice details. I can't give them the details of an invoice I never received. 

I am so disappointed, I have been a loyal customer for 17 years and the one time I want help they can't help me. It is not my fault that Pogo did not send a renewal notice or invoice and that the payment isn't showing up in recent orders. Talked to them 3 times over the last few days but get the same response. The last person I spoke to said you don't have any active subscriptions and I said I do and then later said he can cancel the subscription but can't offer a refund as i Don't have the invoice number. So it is somehow up to me to make them send me an invoice??

How can i get an invoice if they won't send me one and have apparently no record of any orders? I mean its pretty obvious from the screenshots that it has just been renewed but that isn't proof apparently.

    Request a refund right here on EA Help. You’ll be able to see if your games are eligible for the Great Game Guarantee. If you have games that qualify for a refund, you can complete and submit the refund request form.

    Check the status of your return in your Order History on the order summary page.

    1. Go to your EA Account and Billing Settings.
    2. Click on the Order History tab.

    If your refund doesn’t appear in My Cases, and the processing time for your payment method has passed, contact us so we can help you out.

  • Believe me I’ve tried. 4 hours over 3!days but no one can help 🤷🏻‍♀️
