At least you can play. I have been asking for help for more than 2 years for someone to tell me how to get off Level 450 EA doesn't bother and no onee else has ventured a guess. If I play game 450 everytime, I can move forward, but as soon as I leave and go back later, I am back to level 450. I can only play the daily Sanctuary.
But to answer your problem, the new HD games have quirks, Sometimes I have trouble winning a certain game after I return to it a couple of times. Take a good look at the layout the second time around. Choose your matches carefully, but you may have to spend some gems to open the second space and I have even had to choose the key to scatter the the letters. But choosing the right matches of three of the same chips is crucial, that is why I say look your layout over carefully and remember what you did or didn't do to lose the the last game. Good luck.
