Matching moments keeps crashing after the start of a game on Android phone

Level 1625... I can only do 2 moves and then the gems start acting all wonky and won't go any further.
that's the exact same level I started having issues on . . . I make the first match and then the gems don't load properly so I cannot continue. Too bad, I really like this game.
