I'm having the same problem and am doing everything right.This is 2 days in a row a challenge in this game and issues.

Yes.  The classic game mode is the only one active now, I believe.  I sold it this morning right after I activated the badge.  I just went in and a few minutes ago and sold another one for 13 crystals.  The tally still only shows 2 out of 80 crystals.  I have two more ready to sell (one is for 44 crystals), but won't be doing that until after the bug is fixed.

Unfortunately, I cannot activate any of the other badge challenges for this marathon until I "complete" lap 5.  With other games you can cancel an ongoing one to activate a new one.  Thanks for responding.

Thanks for getting back to me. We activated the badge on our side to see if we could replicate this but we were able to earn crystals in classic mode.

Could you share what steps you're taking to sell the items? That might help get a better understanding of what may be happening. Any images you can share too would be great.

No credit for sold items. Yes I was playing in classic mode trying to earn badge. Now I can't even go on to the other badges while waiting for you to fix this bug. Most troubles with games than I have seen in the 20 years I have been with Pogo.

I am having the same problem have sold items worth at least 200 crystals and it says I sold "ONLY 2".  They need to fix these problems with this game.  Also you cannot choose another challenge until this one is completed.

I am also not getting credit for the crystals and I am in classic mode, only mode available,

Not understanding how the large flower is worth 101 crystals, since the max level crystallized plant only sells for 10, if you just sell it outright.  The items sold can't be as an order, you can only sell them by clicking on them and then clicking the "sell" button at the bottom of the screen.  None of the items are worth a lot individually, that's why this is such a hard challenge.  Plus I don't care much for selling (wasting) items that take so long to create.

Thank you for letting us know you're running into issues with the Merge Academy Badge that asks you to:

Earn 80 crystals from selling items in classic game mode before the event ends.

Could you take a peek to double-check the items you're selling are items that grant crystals?  It should look like this:

Asking as not all items will grant crystals, some will grant coins, etc. Only those items that grant crystals will meet the criteria for the badge.
