Merge Academy jewelry items

I cannot complete challenges in Merge Academy because I do not have the pieces needed to obtain the jewelry items in orders.  I have all the other pieces waiting.  I spent time making products and selling them, hoping after each stage I would get whatever I need to complete the orders.  I have no other manner to move forward.  Please tell me how I may progress in Merge Academy.
