Good Morning, joybel0,
POGO is wholly owned by EA Games. POGO has, to the best of my knowledge, no agency in the gaming site and has not since 1999 when EA Games acquired it. That being said, when I joined in 2004, EA Games was not yet a multi billion dollar behemoth and DID care about it's members concerns. I remember when the entire community was fully engaged and questions and concerns were acknowledged and addressed. Now, a member concern is rarely addressed, let along acknowledged. You and I both, along with others, lost two years (at least for me two years) of game play and were (are) forced to start over. I will never get my 150 gems back.
I have not quit POGO but will when my membership runs out. Solitaire Home Story was the only one I followed closely because the story, while simplistic, was engaging. I am currently replaying Level 294 and knowing what I know now, really should have been taking screenshots all along. Then there would have been proof of the Level I was at when Peggy fell into the water and was rescued. As it stands right now, EA Games has no interest in myself, you or anyone else because it does not matter to them. It is however, an attempt to get us to spend our way out of the predicament. That is evidenced by the ongoing introduction of games such as this one limiting game play unless money is spent in order to continue playing. It is the same mentality that governs casinos who have slot machines. Get them hooked, offer some rewards on occasion and the customer will happily pay to play.
The vibrant community that was POGO is pretty much gone. They have either left or simply do not engage anymore. I want my 150 gems back which is why I am still commenting. I will never retain the level I was at in Solitaire Home Story but I also no longer play except to win a challenge let alone spend any gems in ANY game let alone this one.
Disrespect is disrespect. And EA Games disrespected you, myself and others when they made the decision to reset Solitaire Home Story. Take good care, joybel0.
