Solitaire home story: no advancement/freezing screen

I can play the game as normal, but at the end of every game the box at the bottom left opens up. It is stuck on day 1, "Get to safety".  There is no button to press in order to do this mission and the entire screen freezes anytime the mission screen is open. I cannot finish day one, only play the game and continue earning stars. Without being able to advance the remodeling of the house this game loses one of its best attributes and becomes another boring desktop game. Can we find a solution to this bug? I have to reload the entire page after every completed game.
