I think you need new software engineers as the problems with the games seem to be getting worse and doesnt seem to be adressed. Why release games that don't work? I been a paid member for over 10 years and I am enjoying it less.

All of the info I could give you are already contained in past and present threads here, and in the Pogo Forums. It is a consistent problem that when changes are made to Merge Academy game, NEW issues show up.
A few examples: August 29, 2024 - Energy not Regenerating; April 9, 2025 - All Energy disappears when you click the Trash Can; July 4, 2025 - Merge Energy Disappearing; March 30, 2026 - Progress appears to be saved, but when you go back later it has reverted to earlier status; March 30, 2026 - Impossible (or close to it) to get Pottery Wheel Generator; April 6, 2026 - Takes WAY too long to get Tackle Box Generator, and at least one person reports clearing all tiles with insufficient pieces to make the Tackle Box.
Sorry if I sound like a broken record, but Pogo NEEDS to do a better job of testing changes BEFORE implementing them!

Thank you for sharing your experience and I'm sorry to hear about the frustration with Merge Academy. Losing progress on a timed challenge is definitely disappointing. Overall, I think the mini games within Merge Academy should be 8-10 days, some of the generators need a lot of charging.
Regarding the compensation and the time lost during the Merge Academy issues, here in forums they are unable to assist with requests for additional compensation or days — those decisions rest solely with our Community Manager Pogo_Sconnie.
I'd recommend reaching out directly to him regarding your concerns about the 50 bolts/energy and the overall experience during that period.

Right now the biggest issue is with Merge Academy as many have reported. Last week 2 days was wasted because it didn't save. You would think the 2 days would have been added. This week orders can't be filled since the potters wheel is missing. I play this game often even when there isn't a challange. I too got an email with 50 bolts but since I didn't play for 5 hours I got my 100 that I would have had anyway. Besides 50 was a silly gift. I would have hoped the issue would have been resolved or even addressed in a letter.
