Word Whomp - Not loading July 2026

Only get a black screen when going to word whomp. I am a paid member. 
what do I do?

I'm having the same issue, since yesterday.  It's been slow to load for quite some time, but now it won't open at all, just a black screen.  Chrome Laptop no other browser.  No problems with a any other games at the moment.  

I have been trying to load Word Whomp but all I get is a black screen. I have loaded a bunch of other games and they work fine...it is just Word Whomp. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks!!

There is obviously a problem with Word Whomp right now, but POGO won't acknowledge the issue for reasons only they understand.

I'm having the same issue. I've hit CTRL + F5 for a hard reset, & i noticed when I immediately click in the game area following the hard reset & then hit the spacebar, it's returning an "Access Denied" error. This would indicate that the security token (or Akamai Content Delivery Network) specific to Word Whomp is broken. 

Game is not loading.  Black screen for hours now.

I'm having the same issue with Word Whomp as others, and it hasn't loaded all morning - when will it get fixed????

I've done technical checking myself. Page content, source, etc. Everyone's getting a blank black screen because the link data required to start the game, the connection to the POGO/EA game servers, is not being accepted due to incorrect coding &/or the servers not being able to respond with the correct coding to allow the game to load properly (start page).

This means until the POGO/EA games technical department corrects the issue that Word Whomp will not load properly.
