You have seven days to complete the event track. And you earn points for upgrading houses. So get building. I regularly complete the event track without spending money.
Plus it's not even easy to earn points by spending money. If you notice, the only purchases that seem to apply points to the event track anymore are the Sky Chain Offers.
The points from tasks and milestones will get you about half way 3,500 points give or take. Your pearl of wisdom is to build houses. At zone = 5, level 1-2 = 20 and level 3+ 30 that’s an awful lot of houses that I neither want nor should have to build. So as to have space I upgrade and destroy what a waste. No clearly EA deliberately got the numbers wrong to squeeze more money out of the players.
I have completed every event track up to now without real money, this is the first time that real money will clearly be required and is a clear indication of EA’s changing attitude. Over the last few tracks the numbers have changed from very easy to just doable to now impossible without real money or a massive waste of house building which would take time and resource away from completing tasks, meaning more houses. A self perpetuating non-completing cycle.
