OK, I must be stupid. Since Game Center on iOS no longer allows you to add friends, how do we add people in the game? Do I need to add people via FB? I cannot see any option within the game itself. I'm on an iPad with latest OS.

- I logged on to FB in the settings, but got nothing? Is that the only way to add friends? My son started playing and I want us to be friends in this game.

Have you tried to restart the game after you logged on to Facebook? Please, try to do that in your two devices.
Also, just to make sure, you and your son are already friends on Facebook, right?

Yes, it worked. We created a FB account for my son. I still could not find him. I logged off FB from the game & logged back into FB from the game, and he showed up as one of my friends in the game.
I presume this means that NONE of my other FB friends are playing the game?
At any rate, goal accomplished. Now, I can sell my son things he needs at the cheapest price, and can even funnel simoleans to him by buying his stuff at top dollar and selling them back at bottom dollar, rinse & repeat.

- Ive tryed several times it says my fb is attached to another game or something i have never been able to get friends
ok what can u do if you facebook is attached to another city how do you unattach it to attach to your current one. Also how do i make someone in my club vp or does game do that
- This is response to making people VP. Go to members screen. There will be 3 littl dots to the right of each members names. Click on them. Up will pop a screen that will allow you to promote the player you have clicked on.
You may also edit clubs descriptions. Be careful not to leave club. You may not be able to get back in.
As president you at only one allowed to make a VP. VPs take over and become president if you leave club.
This is also where you chose to have your club open, (anyone can come in), Private, (other clubs must apply to get in) or closed (game is not taking any new members!
It is also here that you set the limits of acceptance. For example, you are Newbies, so perhaps you want no limits. My club is experienced, so they must apply!
Be careful with an open club. It allows anyone in. Once in, they are also members of your club. They can pick up any war items you have posted for your team and leave. Private is best option. Anyone applying needs to be approved to enter by a senior, VP, or you, the president!

@CeriSim Not sure what you’re referring to…but you do not need Facebook to join a Mayor’s Club.
