Sad to hear this. I will delete the app if it goes through. Loved the game, but can’t support this merger. When it happens, a new distraction will fill my time and get my support. USA all the way, but not supporting oligarchies, especially in foreign regimes that don’t support free speech. So sad.
What merger?
It's not a merger, it's a leveraged buy out. Electronic Arts (EA) is a publicly traded corporation. EA is being bought by an investment entity and is being taken private. None the less, the fact a private entity is buying EA means that EA will either be pushed to generate more revenue. And bits and pieces could be sold off to focus EA on whatever is decided to be its core goal.
EA has never been a US company so I don’t know what you are going on about. “USA all the way”? What does that even mean? This is a world wide game. There is no patriotic nonsense here.

I definitely will NOT be on SCBI after the buyout. I can barely stand my terrorist government, surely not going to support a foreign one!
