I think he's referring to the event track, it seems EA and Track Twenty are "testing: a new approach to the event track with some cities. It's hard to describe so I attached a screenshot.

My opinion: I don't like the new approach, also I don't appreciate being given a hard to complete event track with so little time. Why does EA and Track Twenty make the game difficult to play? Wouldn't you get more player engagement if it was a tad easier?
