What is a reasonable amount of City Storage capacity and the average?

I am on Level 37 with over 306,000 SIMS and have a city storage capacity of 140. Should I continue to try to expand the capacity? I am constantly at 120/140 and then "FULL". I sometimes wonder what the heck I have in there!

What is the typical amount of capacity used for large cities? What do you use?

My storage is similar, a couple of tricks is just buying simple items that normally sell in bulk anyway, as you need them, and use them all right away. iE 10 iron or logs. Also use the factories themselves as a form of short-term storage. Also focus on building a few different items at a time, and buy what you need. This may seem kinda wasteful, but you'll find you generate more money while helping out your fellow players.

I'm currently at 637k population and 210 storage, and it's often not enough.  My recommendation would be to just keep going as high as you possibly can. The limit used to be 250, but apparently that limitation was lifted in the last major update. I don't know what the new limit is.

Wow...that's a lot of storage. I find it difficult to accumulate the needed upgrade materials and not run out of space doing it. It's the antithesis of a quandary I suppose. 🙂

I like to think of it as just another one of the challenges of the game, balancing storage needed for building upgrades vs housing storage upgrade parts until you can use them... definitely frustrating at times, as I imagine it was intended! :D
