EA should change the hours of the Contest of Mayors so that it is fair for all time zones.
I live in the Mountain Standard Time Zone. A higher proportion of my time in the Contest of Mayors occurs between midnight and 6am than my European counterparts. This puts me at a disadvantage against those competitors.
The hours of the Contest of Mayors should be in 24 hour increments to create a more level playing field.
I agree. I live in Pacific Time Zone (GMT-8) and have lost many hours of normal sleep time over the years participating in CoM. I'd very much like to see a different start and finish time for the contest, even if only for a year.
I have had the same thought. Someone will always be unhappy, but it would be nice if they shifted the time each season to allow for an advantage to others for a time. My suggestion assume current is 0, numbers are hours
season 13: -10
season 14: -5
season 15: 0
season 16: +5
season 17: +10
season 18:-10
and so on
