Wrongfully banned to cheat server

    Yesterday, when starting up the game again, all of a sudden I found myself back on the 'normal' server! I was able to find my club again and reconnected with them. So, all in all it took EA about a week to investigate and revert my exile to the cheat server. Happy to be back, and really glad to be able to play with my team again, but still somewhat unsatisfied with EA's total lack of communication. If I had not started playing again last evening I would not have been aware of the change, since there has been no email (yet) from EA notifying me of the outcome of their investigation... And there is still that awkward feeling that if I start playing full throttle again, another exile might happen all of a sudden. The sword of Damocles?

    Conclusion: problem solved in about one week without any communication from EA besides the confirmation mail when submitting the ticket. That might help others who end up in the same situation. Sit tight, be patient, log in every now and then to check! If you are not a cheater, EA will revert your exile.

Hi all,

i have an issue with my account which is moved to another server by the security system, i can't communicate with my friends in game and can't join their club, the global market is not the same, and there are less people, i have opened several tickets to the support but until now i don't have the answer, i'm hopeless then i write here to sollicite your help.

If an admin see my post please remove my account to the normal zone please, my ID player is 1552993558.

    This is not something Community Managers here in the forum take care of, so not something we can help with. However, I've merged your post here as other players have discussed something similar in this thread and I thought you would like to read other experiences.

      i'm sorry that i have written in the wrong place, but i have read a lot of post here, and i have contacted ea support and the simcity buildit team support but until now the problem is not fixed, despite several tickets and revival, i'm so hopeless now, could you advice me what to do?

        hi all

        i was moved to the cheat server since 2 weeks, i didn't use any cheat, i don't know why, i have opened 4 tickets and a lot of revivals, until now i'm always in the cheat server.

        Absolutely no feedback from them, maybe it means "delete your game, we won't take care"

        The investigation isn't complex, just see log, see the ip address, the account...from which i connected, filter on my account, see events happen to account, then they can see if i cheated or not, and they can move the account to the normal server in the database. Moreover i'm not the only who have this problem, they are used to do it i suppose.

        One thing is sure that i'm INNOCENT. my friends are afraid that one day they will be banned by this unfair system and never get back.

        Then if you read this post, you might be moved to the cheat server, just stop the game because one day you will be removed to the normal server (if they decide to help you) you loose already trust, faith and motivation for this game.

    Same here I have been inexplicably banished to the dark server and in my frustration created a club called “unfairly sent here” I have been playing this game for four years spent money and earned every item I am furious. The game support cannot even grasp the problem! I have set up a club “unfairly sent here” for clean players to discuss what to do

      I got answer from service desk. No solution just standard question indicating that they have no idea how to act. I answered immediatelly with referral to this thread and no feedback so far.
