I am having the same problem and in the same situation! Did you get anything figured out?
I have the same Problem. They moved the File and it is no longer on the End User`s Computer that`s why you can`t find it.
Here the steps i took.
Wrote a Message to a Community Manager over a week ago. got no response.
Contacted the EA Support 3 Times.
right now i finally could address the Issue that the File with the UI Option Zoom is no longer available to the End User and hence has to be adapted by EA. Which also totally makes sense since the average PC in 2024 will Display with much higher resolution. So if they simply adapt this UI Change it will make the Game playable again and for all period !
I think it`s not that hard to understand, and after all it is and was an Award Winning game and still is fun to play , if playable. But from the "Support" i don`t even get the willingness to forward it to the right department. Disappointing at best and if not solved i will cancel my Account asap afterwards. Shows me how little they care in "Customer Care", actually trying to help them keeping older games running.
Support is mistaken. The setting is there. Check in:
C:\Users\CHANGETOYOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SimCity\Preferences
I did this just today and setting `OptionUIZoomLevel 2` works great.

Are you able to please explain where this is? I feel so slow because i have no idea where this is ☹️
I don’t have this folder I use Windows and play the game through EA and I can’t find this folder!!! I just want to be able to play this game and the icons are too small can anyone help with this I know it’s an old thread but I can’t find any thing anywhere on this except for this one thread!
