After 15 years I’m disappointed

I know it’s early access but I don’t know why they couldn’t have just taken the mechanics from skate 3 and put them into this game. I’m playing on classic. Tried experienced and stream lined and for the life of me cannot seem to find a good balance. Sure the basic controls are about the same but everything feels so slow and sometimes more out of your hands. From playing skate 3 when it first came out 15 years ago… how could this be flopping so hard. The skate games didn’t need a re invention in my opinion. Skate 3 but with more updated content and a little bit more of the parkour stuff would be fantastic. Being able to grab stuff and finger flick the board like normal would be fantastic. It’s early access but why. Again I say skate 3 is 15 YEARS OLD. This feels like 30 steps back with paid content
