Aspect ratio is off.

I picked op the game for the first time in a few months and i noticed that the aspect ratio is now way off. there are no settings in the game to ensure that my resolution and aspect ratio is correct. 

i have a 4k screen with a 16:9 ratio. when i play the game the whole image seems stretched. as if it thought i was on a 4:3 screen ratio. 

all the circles are oval shaped.
