Dude, yes! I’m having the same EXACT issue. I redeemed some items in the skate pass, I just go to change my outfit and I see that I have the inside out Slip-Ons. I thought maybe I was given it for free for some reason but then I look at my San Van Bucks and it took 250! I didn’t even want these hot garbage shoes.

Good to know that it's not just me! Interesting that it redeemed the same exact pair of shoes. Since yours happened on the Skate Pass screen, I think this post is relevant as well: Lost my credits by purchasing item in season pass | EA Forums - 12783611
The video doesn't show what item was redeemed, but their SV bucks did drop by 250 from 2950 to 2700, so it could actually be the same pair of shoes too 😂
In addition to this forum post, I opened a support ticket using the form at https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/ and chose "In-game currencies and rewards" as the issue. You may want to do the same and include a link to this post.
After I submitted, it unexpectedly opened up a chat window and connected me to a live agent. I recommend copying the message before submitting the form, so you can just paste it into the chat window without having to retype everything.
I also just noticed that my ticket is now closed as "No Fix Available", so it's unclear if they are doing anything else about it. The agent mentioned they sent my info to a team that now has full visibility into my experience and can check what happened, but I guess it seems like I won't be getting a refund and maybe they'll just fix the issue going forward.

Same here, tried to talk to chat, went through two different agents only for them to tell me it was passed to the skate team and that they were “investigating.” Still missing those 250 San Van Bucks.
