Free 100 San Van bucks

my friends received a free 100 San van bucks from completing a mission in Hedgemont I wish I knew which exactly but it's definitely one of the beginning ones but I wasn't able to receive any free San van bucks from any missions so I was wondering if this was a bug in the game or if I actually missed out on the free 100 SVB. I know they got an extra 100 because we all had the same currency from the free game pass award but now don't as they have an extra 100 SVB and none of us have spent any money on the game as well.
