Mechanical issues

"skate." mechanically plays way worse that skate 3, sometimes it feels like I'm dragged across the map to lock into a grind and sometimes it doesn't lock in at all when aligned correctly. There is far less precision in the controls, you can no longer tweak into smith grinds like you used to, it corrects 90 degree landings like crazy. In general it feels like the terrain has very little connection to my player character, it feels like the wheels aren't touching the ground, you may have made tricks look more fluid at the sacrifice of gameplay integrity.

Honestly the release feels like a kick in the teeth as an avid "skate" series enjoyer. I can't even tell you how many hours I've played the franchise over the years and I was really excited for the release of the new game, I'm just pretty disappointed.
