PLEASE FIX EA GAMES CRASHING ON XBOX SERIES X

Both Battlefield 6 & Skate. have been unplayable due to them crashing my Xbox. No other games do it & other people have the same issue with EA games exclusively as well.

I literally tore down my whole Xbox last night, redid the thermal paste & everything just to try & fix the problem. No luck, Skate. still crashes :(

Extremely frustrating since I can play any other game just fine, like COD, Siege & Helldivers. Please listen to the other people complaining about thus across the internet & do something. It HAS to be some sort of bug in the code. It’s only games produced by EA. The game just freezes, goes to a glitch screen, then dashboards or restarts. I have an original Series X from just after launch date & really want to play these games but there’s no way I’m buying a new console to do so.

I’ve tried every setting & trick in the book. Please don’t suggest anything, just fix the games.

  • I have exact same issue. It makes me not even want to spend the money on bf 6 in a few weeks due to having the same problem in the beta as I am having in skate early access. Hard crashing is serious and it is surprising they haven’t mentioned it whatsoever.

  • I also have the same issue, the game loads up to the main menu then instantly freezes and dashboards or shuts down, only EA games like the new FC26

(2020 Launch Series X Xbox) Same issue here, the beta was almost unplayable. I would get lucky to get two games in without crashing to the dashboard. Had the same problem with other ea games like BF2042, CFB25, and it just seems to be EA. They can’t even address the issue and provide a fix after years. Really making me debate spending money on this new BF6 coming out next month.

I have the same issue. Screen doesn’t quite glitch out like yours but during the tutorial, as I jump up to grab the skateboard 🛹 the game freezes or I make it to the top of the skate park and it freezes there. I can’t even compete the tutorial- must be buggy code or something.

I’ve cleared cache and reinstalled 3 times.

Side-note: Im super hyped for bf6 but despite the game running relatively smoothly in performance mode I noted a few people reporting their consoles just shutting down etc after a few hours of gameplay…..

EA need to fix these issues…

I'm having the exact same issues. I was able to complete the character creation but then the tutorial froze when I went to grab my skateboard. When I reload the game, it sits on the loading screen for a good 3+ minutes before it sometimes lets me back in, other times none of the assets load but I can access the pause menu. If it does let me back in, I can get up to the skateboard or the top of the skate park before it freezes again.

Like you, I've tried everything I can to get it to work properly, so it must be a code issue, maybe something in the season 1 update.

  • Even Apex has this problem for me now. I played this game for over a year, no problem... suddenly after a update couple months ago it started crashing and till this day it still is. Not touching it again. Same with tha Battlefield 6 Beta, that's why i didn't even bought the game and now the same with Skate... it's sooooo anyoing.

I have the same issue. Tried several ways of contacting ea support but never get an answer. Is EA support even real? At this point, seeing this many complaints without any sort of reply from EA, I’m thinking it’s a fictional department. I can play any other game for endless amounts of time with zero crashes and zero issues. Any EA game I try, immediately crashes my Xbox within minutes. This is clearly an EA issue they refuse to even acknowledge. What a joke of a company.
